Buckle up, it's crunch time.

As much as I love a fresh baguette and cheese, there is inevitably half a loaf that turns stale as a rock just a day later.
Enter: croutons. These under-appreciated, crispy, buttery little bites are so easy to make, will make you feel like a genius for salvaging that leftover baguette, and are leagues above any store-bought varietals.
Oh -- and if you thought croutons were just for salads, think again, my friends. Throw in a hearty bowl of soup or crumble on top of your favorite pasta to add some texture!
